Since I've become a doggy mama I've studied nutrition and supplementation for my furry companions. I feel in all these years, I've turned over almost every rock to find out all I can to keep my babies healthy and hopefully keep them alive BEYOND the norm. They are my world and there isn't anything I wouldn't do for them. I believe God's creatures were put here to teach us unconditional Love. I'm sure you animal lovers can relate. Simply put, they are angels on earth and I thank God everyday for the privilege of their presence. Husky's are notorious for having hip and eye problems and they have very sensitive digestive systems. Thank God my two babies are quite healthy and the only problem I had with my older Husky in the first year of his life is that he would occasionally throw up bile but I researched as to why he did. I found out that Husky's have a remarkably sensitive digestive system and unique dietary habits and if they don't eat a little something within 6 to 8 hours the ACID builds up because of having an empty stomach and it causes them to throw up. Which is not good because the acid can burn their esophagus and can cause throat issues. Such as pain and irritate and inflame the delicate lining of the esophagus and over time it can cause ulcers and scar tissue to form narrowing the esophagus and making it hard for the food to pass through. So needless to say I make sure they have a little something in their stomachs so this never happens to my sweet babies. I believe they are healthy because growing up when I was a little girl my mother and grandmother raised many types of animals. Dogs and Cats were always present in my grandmothers menagerie. She new how to take care of her animals and she passed it on to me. Don't get me wrong, I certainly learned along the way that Husky's in particular were somewhat different and they taught me a lot because of that. I also hold FREE classes on how to prepare human grade food for your pups and I also help folks with their dogs or cats that can't afford a vet with NATURAL remedies. I lean towards integrative homeopathic methods instead of DRUGS. I believe God put a natural pharmacy at our disposal that can HEAL an animal and us instead of just treating the symptoms and making individuals SLAVES to drugs. I'm also very knowledgeable on supplementation for your dogs particular needs. If we keep our dogs and cats on a healthy diet, supplementation and exercise you won't be paying for high vet costs by going the extra mile. You may pay a little more for prevention but how can we put a price tag on our animals health? I would like to share some well earned knowledge on how to take care of your fur babies with my experience as an animal Lover. I presently have a 9 year old male Siberian Husky that I've had since he was only 8 weeks old and a female miniature husky that I rescued about 3 years ago. She is approximately 4 1/2 years old.
